The Bottom Line
Through the intense avodah of bitachon in the month of Adar – by connecting to Hashem through tefillah, Torah, and teshuvah, and trusting that HKBH will help them overcome their adversaries – the Jews merited to nullify Haman’s decree and accepted the Torah m’ahavah. We also can tap into the transformational potential of Adar today as well, to change ourselves and thereby annul gezeiros or serious challenges we may be facing, r”l. But this journey requires serious work, deep self-introspection and commitment – to not just improve our Avodas Hashem, but to have the bitachon that we can fundamentally elevate it to an entirely different level altogether! This coming week, I will look at how seriously I approach my tefillah, tzedakah, limud haTorah, hachnosas orchim, etc, and will, bli neder, begin to serve Hashem in one of those areas with more love, commitment and passion. And in the zechus of trying to “turn” myself around, I want to be zoiche to all the amazing brochos of Purim!
